Kael is Four!
Kael just turned four and I feel like I can't remember life without him! What a fun kid! He is sooo full of words and is able to effectively express his feeling into words. Sometimes a little too well. :) He really has quite an imagination. Lately we've been pretending to be different animals, a puppy is the most frequent and I think it is my fault. A while ago I was out of cups for the kids to drink out of (because I really needed to do dishes) so i asked them if they would like to drink out of a bowl like a puppy, well it was tons of fun therefore Kael loves being a puppy!
Kael also loves to sing and even more grand is making up his own words to familiar tunes. Recently he has been singing, "Twinkle, twinkle little star, how I wonder what you had for lunch." He thinks it is hilarious and so much fun.
Kaels memory continues to amaze me. We will read a book once and the next time he can finish some of the sentences. We've been reading some really fun Halloween books and his favorites so far are: "Room on the Broom," because the animals yell, "Watch out bud that's our witch," and "One Halloween Night" I think because of the magic wand!
Kael loves to play games any kind and every kind. He just recieved Don't Break the Ice for his birthday and I am pretty sure he could play it all day if I could set it up all day!
Here are some pictures of the birthday party we had for him on Friday! We just had a few friends over and had a Diego Party! The weather was perfect so they jumped on the trampoline, were led through an animal rescue, ate lunch and devoured Diego Ice Cream cake out of ice cream cones!

All Around
I asked them to give me their pretty smiles :)
Laughing together!
They were mili-seconds away from covering me with leaves.
Jammies
I was given a serger awhile ago and this week I finally learned how to thread it and use it! I have to separate threading from using it because it was definitly a huge task on its own! I did it! Hurray!
Baby Carrots
This is what happens when you don't thin your carrots as they are growing: you get a bunch of baby carrots. Oh well! At least the kids loved them.
So, I have boys... and they like to dress-up in clothes and play a roll. But they are boys so I don't feel like I can really call it playing, "dress-up!" Therefore I have been saying, "let's go wear costumes," but it still doesn't sound quite right. Any ideas? What is it called when boys play dress-up? :)
Tough cowboy ready to ride the trail!
