Happy Happy Birthday Silas Dear!

Silas woke up at 5:30 soooo excited for his birthday!  I've been asking him for months to please stay three because he is such a great three year old.  But every time he responds with, "no mom... it goes 1..2...3...4!"

Silas loves camo, swords or knives (the play kind!.)  He loves to giggle and knows how to take a joke!  He gets the cutest little twinkle in his eye whenever he is teasing or telling a joke.

First Snow of the Season

Early last week we had our first snow of the season and the kids loved it!  It honestly worked out perfectly:  we got to play in the snow and then by the time it was Halloween and we wanted to trick-or-treat it was all dried up and gone!

I took the boys sledding the first day of the snow and then the next day we played in the yard so that Jayne could come!  My boys love the snow! Jayne liked it until she stumbled and her face touched the icy cold stuff!

This year we are dressed as a NINJA family!  These kids are the best Ninja's EVER!  HIYA!

Birthday!!

The day  came with tons of anticipation.  This boy counted the days all month and was so excited this week

 

Kael is such a kind, fun boy.  He is becoming so helpful to me.  He can actually clean the living room for me and I don't have to help!  I brought in treats to his school classroom and was pleased to find him obedient, kind and learning to read!  He loves his younger siblings and knows how to make them laugh.  His imagination is fantastic.  The favorites recently include maps, volcanoes, ninjas and fun! What a joy he is!

Whirl Wind One

How could the last year go by so quickly!  I swear Jayne was just born!  It has been a year and we have all grown and changed.  Jayne is a happy, bright baby.  She's loves people and animals.  She doesn't care so much to look at things or toys, but if you are a person she wants to catch your eye and smile at you.  In just the last couple weeks she has learned so much.  She can go up and down the stairs fairly well.  She says, hot, pup pup (puppy), bubub (bubble), Wa (water).  She waves "night, night" or "nap, nap." Jayne loves to crawl and be outside especially if she can see her brothers outside!

 

 

 

The first day of was soccer right after dinner.  Silas was so excited and played excellently! Kael is the big boy on the team and set a great example.  Silas loved having his brother play with him.

 

After the soccer game we had cake.  The boys  helped Jayne blow out the candles but she ate it all on her own!
